We at Rockingham Optometry have available the New Laser Lens for better vision, we also provide comprehensive examinations for:

1) Visual acuity

2) Neurological - check for eye turns or palsies due to stroke. Pupils can help detect brain tumors or aneurysms. Peripheral visual fields are used to screen for glaucoma, brain tumors, etc.

3) We specialize in high prescriptions for glasses and contact lens with astigmatism.

4) Intraocular pressure is used for screening for glaucoma, which can sneak up on you and cause loss of sight if undiagnosed.

5) Health assessment of: Eyelids, Lashes & Cornea.

Conjuctiva and Sclera (check for "pink eye"). Crystalline lens (check for cataracts). Vitreous (check for floaters). Retina (check for holes, tears or leaking blood vessels due to high blood pressure or diabetes).

In Office:

Visual fields analyzer, auto refracter and our Digital Retinal Camera for retinal photographs, which allows us to provide you with more thorough medial analysis of the health of your eye and track changes in your eyes.

"If the health of the eye goes bad it doesn't matter what glasses or contact lens you are wearing." Loss of vision can often be avoided if the pathology is caught early and treated. However, if the damage is allowed to occur, the vision cannot regenerate. We also can help patients with low vision needs now featuring the new Space-Age, High Tech "Jordy" (large print, books on tape, telescopes and hand-held magnifiers).

We offer limited vision therapy for help with tracking problems such as eye turns and dyslexia.

We treat eye infections and glaucoma. We remove foreign bodies and treat chemical burns, etc.

We accept most vision plans and your major medical insurance will cover an office visit for most health related conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, pink eye, headaches, etc.

We at Hardwick Vision Center are here to offer you the highest quality selection in frames and lens. We will help you choose what type frame looks best on you! Most of our customers in the past have been well pleased with our selection and service. In most cases you will have same or next day service on glasses. With contact lenses it is usually three days or less. Unless, they are special contact lenses (such as toric contact lenses, which corrects astigmatism), which are usually custom ordered.

We also accept most vision plans. We will always do our best at finding out exactly how much of a discount you are eligible for at the time of service.
